● The Greencastle Area Arts Council was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1983. ● Tax exempt status was granted in 1992. ● The GAAC is governed by a board of directors and officers including President, President-elect, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, and Corresponding Secretary. ● Directors serve a two-year term. ● The business and fiscal year runs January 1 to December 31. ● The Greencastle Area Arts Council funds many of their programs and events through membership fees and fund-raisers. ● In addition, the Greencastle-Antrim School District, community organizations and local businesses have helped fund and support some events. When we all work together, our goals can be attained. |
